Comments: Looking at the 2006 World Fantasy Award nominees, I am struck by the fact that there have been so few works of young adult fantasy nominated for this award. For example, despite their immense popularity, none of the Harry Potter or Percy Jackson novels were even nominated for a World Fantasy Award.
